What is a pronoun?

We will start learning about pronouns from the basics - the pronoun definition. A pronoun is a word that substitutes the noun in a sentence. Its main purpose is to avoid repetitions. For example, if you want tell a story about your friend Mike, you will use pronouns to not repeat his name all the time. Pronouns make it easier for others to understand what are you saying. Types of pronouns

There are more types of pronouns. The personal pronouns are those that refer to a thing or a person. There are different forms of personal pronouns depending on the gender, case, person and number. There are also demonstrative pronouns you can learn with our platform or by downloading our app. The demonstrative pronouns are this, these, those, that.
