Lekcja 230 – Responding to Apologies - B1

Nie martw się. Nic się nie stało.

Don't worry. It's not a big deal.

Rozumiem że to nie było celowe.

I understand you didn't mean to do it.

Dziękuję że mi o tym powiedziałaś.

Thanks for letting me know.

Doceniam że wzięłaś za to odpowiedzialność.

I appreciate you taking responsibility for it.

Nie ma sensu ciągle do tego wracać.

There's no point in going over it again and again.

Najważniejsze że udało nam się to wyjaśnić.

The main thing is that we managed to sort it out.

Każdemu zdarza się czasem popełnić błąd.

Everyone makes mistakes from time to time.

Zostawmy to za sobą i idźmy dalej.

Let's put it behind us and move on.

Szczerze mówiąc nie mam do ciebie pretensji.

To be honest I don't hold it against you.

W porządku. Zacznijmy od nowa.

It's all right. Let's start fresh.

Kiedy ktoś szczerze przeprasza staram się to przyjąć. Jeśli problem został rozwiązany nie chcę ciągle do niego wracać. Wolę zostawić go za sobą i iść dalej.

When someone apologises honestly I try to accept it. If the problem has been sorted out I don't want to keep going over it. I'd rather put it behind us and move on.
