I don't want the conversation to turn into an argument.

Jeśli emocje wzrosną zróbmy krótką przerwę.

If things get emotional let's take a short break.

Spróbujmy skupić się na faktach.

Let's try to focus on the facts.

Może uda nam się wspólnie wypracować rozwiązanie.

Maybe we can work out a solution together.

At the end of the day I want us to be able to move on.

Trudne rozmowy nie są łatwe ale nie chcę ich unikać. Staram się spokojnie wyjaśnić swoje zdanie i słuchać drugiej osoby. Najważniejsze jest znalezienie rozwiązania.

Difficult conversations aren't easy but I don't want to avoid them. I try to explain my view calmly and listen to the other person. The main thing is to find a solution.
